WTO
The World Trade Organization (WTO) is an international committee in Model United Nations that focuses on global trade, economic cooperation, and fair commerce among nations. Delegates represent member states to debate issues such as trade disputes, tariffs, intellectual property, digital trade, and sustainable economic development. The committee encourages negotiation, diplomacy, and consensus-building to create policies that strengthen international trade while balancing national interests. By addressing real-world economic challenges, the WTO committee helps participants develop analytical thinking, public speaking, and problem-solving skills while gaining insight into the complexities of the global trading system.

Hrisheek Vavilapally
WTO - CHAIR
Unclear future, bad decisions and good memories. That is Hrisheek. Majoring in Aerospace Engineering at “God knows what” University, Hrisheek loves to live by his (hopefully) famous quote “One Nutella Jar at a time”. Still the same old, Loves anime, cracks bad jokes and calls himself a “fun guy”. New year, New conference, same old guy with a bit more experience, he is happy to serve as the Chair of the WTO for EMUN 7.0 .

Good music, diet coke, and questionable timing. That’s Vidya. An Economics student who goes with the flow, tries new things, and doesn’t overcomplicate it. She’s happy to serve as Vice-Chair for EMUN 7.0.
